Jocelyn made her way to her deskwith a large pile of books, quills, parchments, and her wand teetering on the pile. She was trying to get her office set up and was having a hard time of it.
"This is just way to much stuff," she grumbled to herself as she dropped the load on her desk. It gave her no satisfaction to hear the loud thud it made. Sighing, she made her way to another box.
On the second trip, she noticed her wand lying near the edge of her desk. Rolling her eyes at her own stupidity, she dropped the pile of books in her arms on the desk.
"I couldn't have done it the easy way. Always difficult," she grumbled. Waving her wand, the books and everything else began to sort themselves out and zoom to their rightful place.
Once the books were on the shelves, the spare quills and parchments in the drawers, the pictures on the walls, the chalkboard in the corner, and her spare teaching robes on a peg on the wall, she smiled in satisfaction.
"There," she said, dusting her hands off. "Now, to get some real work done."
And, with that, she settled herself down at her desk and opened her lesson planner. She had lots to do.
